iSHOW at Truth and Reconciliation Day 2025 – West Edmonton Mall

On Truth and Reconciliation Day 2025, the iSHOW: Wheelchair Basketball Experience was honoured to be part of the community gathering at West Edmonton Mall, sharing in a day of reflection, connection, and action toward unity.

Visitors from across Alberta joined us to experience the game of wheelchair basketball — an inclusive, empowering sport that breaks down barriers and opens conversations about accessibility, understanding, and shared humanity.

The laughter, determination, and teamwork we witnessed on the court reflected the spirit of reconciliation itself — one rooted in respect, learning, and inclusion. Every person who sat in a sport wheelchair took a powerful step toward seeing the world through another perspective.

We’re deeply grateful to the organizers, volunteers, and every participant who rolled with us. Together, we continue to move toward a more inclusive and understanding future.
