iSHOW at K-Days: Rolling Into the Spotlight
The iSHOW Experience rolled into K-Days 2025 (July 19–28) and brought the energy, excitement, and inclusive spirit that defines our mission — and what a ride it was! We invited K-days patrons and guests to step outside their comfort zone, hop into a sport wheelchair, and experience the fast-paced thrill of wheelchair basketball firsthand. From curious kids and supportive parents to seasoned athletes and first-time players, everyone who stopped by discovered just how fun, empowering, and accessible this sport can be.
Located inside the Kiyanaw Indigenous Experience Pavilion, the iSHOW court quickly became one of the most talked-about interactive exhibits. Our team of dedicated athletes and volunteers guided participants through basic skills, open play, and friendly shootout challenges — all using high-performance sport wheelchairs provided on-site. For many attendees, it was their first time trying an adaptive sport, and their reactions said it all: “That was way more fun than I expected!” and “I didn’t realize how skilled and intense wheelchair basketball really is!”
We want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who showed up, showed love, and gave the chairs a try. Whether you dropped in for a few shots, joined a game, or simply cheered from the sidelines, your enthusiasm helped make this one of our best iSHOW events to date. Seeing kids, teens, adults, and seniors all rolling together on the same court reminded us why we do this — to celebrate sport without limits and open new doors for connection and fun.
The iSHOW Experience at K-Days wasn’t just an event — it was a movement. It showcased the power of inclusive sport in the heart of a major community celebration, and the response was overwhelming. We’re already planning what’s next, so stay connected by following us on social media and checking back here at iSHOWnation.com. Until then, keep moving forward, keep breaking barriers, and remember: sport is for everyone — especially YOU!
