Bringing Adaptive Sport to Indigenous Communities Across Alberta.

Empowering Youth Through
Wheelchair Basketball and Inclusion.

I.S.H.O.W spent five days at Golden Eagle School in Bigstone Cree Nation and the impact was felt from day one. Students rolled onto the court with focus and excitement. They passed, moved, and competed with growing confidence. The gym stayed loud with encouragement and teamwork.

Each session gave students a real look at what adaptive sport demands. Strength. Coordination. Awareness. Respect. By trying a sport wheelchair, they built a deeper understanding of inclusion and the different ways athletes move and play.

The staff and community support made the week even stronger. Their commitment to giving youth new experiences showed in every class that joined us.
