Bringing Adaptive Sport to Indigenous Communities Across Alberta.

Empowering Youth Through
Wheelchair Basketball and Inclusion.

The iSHOW: Wheelchair Basketball Experience team had the incredible opportunity to visit kiskinahamākewin (Education Division/KEA) at Enoch Cree Nation, sharing the excitement of wheelchair basketball and the message of inclusion with students and educators.

From the first roll onto the court, the energy was electric. Students pushed hard, passed fast, and laughed even harder — quickly learning that wheelchair basketball is not only fun but also a powerful way to understand ability, teamwork, and resilience.

This visit was more than a game. It was about connection, confidence, and celebrating the strength within every community. The iSHOW team was honoured to bring the experience to kiskinahamākewin (Education Division/KEA), where the spirit of unity and participation shone through every play.

Thank you to the students, staff, and community for welcoming us with open hearts and for embracing what inclusion in sport truly looks like.
